A Little like Beijing

Yesterday as a family we went out for a 3.5 mile bike and walk. There is a section of the king's old hunting grounds called El Pardo that is accessible from a spot near our house. The walk was nice, except for the occasional fit from Truman where he would throw his bike down and refuse to go any further.

The really interesting thing about our walk is that it is a little bit higher than our house and you can see most of the Madrid city sky line. And guess what? It was totally brown and polluted. I'm not sure if something changed in the weather but there is definitely a haze hugging the city. Keep in mind, we're not talking the same league as Chinese pollution but it's still a little gross.
